I’m a native of New Jersey and a true Jersey girl, but not down by the shore! Haha! I enjoy traveling, attending cultural events as well as listening and dancing to 80’s, 90’s and early to late 2000s music. The best eras in music without debate. Most music after this makes my ears scratch.
My friends, family, colleagues and clients know me as an advocate for work-life balance and I’m intentional about making time for me, my hobbies, and my passions. This translates to I have created good boundaries for myself and have taken the time to learn who I am and what I want and I would love to help you to do the same!

I’m a native of New Jersey and I enjoy traveling, attending cultural events and listening and dancing to 80’s and 90’s music. My friends, family, colleagues and clients know me as an advocate for work-life balance and I’m intentional about making time for me, my hobbies, and my passions. On any given day you may find me visiting Atlanta’s latest and greatest spaces curated for foodies. I take delight in leveraging my skills and passions to meet the needs of the people and the organizations I serve. As a counselor, I specialize in women’s issues, life transitions, stress management, self-care, anxiety and depression, community education, grief and loss and creating safe spaces for men. I’m passionate about facilitating transformative conversations around social issues, racial reconciliation and cultural competence and I’m a sought after speaker and consultant, centering the mental wellness and the intersection of spiritual health.
I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and also hold a Masters in Education from Mercer University.

Being an educator has always been innate. My heritage, early childhood years, and life experiences have only deepened my passion and commitment to educating, counseling and advising diverse groups of people.

Closer to Eden, Inc. was created to provide counseling, education and consulting services to individuals, organizations, corporations, and communities both domestically and internationally for the purposes of building mental, emotional, spiritual and intellectual capacity in the lives of others. My vision is to restore the original intent and design for humanity through education and mental health initiatives.
